Why languages matter?!

Knowing languages is all about making the first step in building intercultural bridges. Every language due to its historical way acquired some weight in politics, economy, geography, diplomacy - more. The tools we can use in getting what we want are growing in numbers like mushrooms after rain - e.g. www.eduget.com 

But the main point stays in the fact that in this world of constant conflicts, misunderstanding each person should speak at least 2 languages so he or she will be able to see and test some event or fact from different sides. To prove this point it will be enough to check 2 or 3 version of one event in WIKI. The world is at war and the versions of stories are the battlefield. To my humble opinion, the non-verbal language is missing from the above-mentioned rank, as well as performance talk.
