How do adults communicate in e-world?

Starting from the first day at the university, I recommend you to learn how to:
1. Use email as often as social media.  Make it a habit.
2. Use email with your name and surname in it. No nicknames. Or at least not funny.
3. Use in email polite words and punctuation.
4. Nobody reads long email, if yes - only in a week or two or never.
5. Formal language is for formal use, icons for social media. Mail is adult quality. Grow.
6. Email can be used in proving some important argues.
7. Never trust simple words, but written emails with names and dates.
